Mr. Davis was a member of
St. Sebastian Roman Catholic
Church; Belle Vernon; and the
Sons of Italy. He has been a
resident of Belle Vernon since
1954. He was employed as a
clerk at the WheelingPittsburgh Steel; Allenport
plant. He was an Army veteran
of the Korean conflict.
He is survived by his wife;
Frances Cefala Davis; one son;
James S. Davis of Belle
Vernon; two daughters; Mrs.
Keith (Marijo) Kroeschel of
Belle Vernon and Mrs. Ken
(Palma) Tabacca of Belle
Vernon; one brother; James R.
Davis of Perryopolis; and five
grandchildren.
Friends will be received at
the Ferguson Funeral Home
Inc.; 700 Broad Ave.; Belle
Vernon; Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Helen (Nell Lehew) Doyle;86;of 547 Fayette St.;Belle Vernon;died Tuesday;April 11;1989;at 3:15 a.m. in Haven Crest Inc.;Carroll Township. She was born in England on Dec.19;1902;a daughter of the late William and Hannah Perks Lane. Mrs.Doyle was a member of the Pricedale Union Church. She had lived in the Belle Vernon area for 80 years and was a former 50 year employee of Corning Glass Co.;Charleroi. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her second husband;William Doyle Sr.in 1988;her first husband;Frank Lehew in 1961;and two sisters;Elizabeth Schuller and Gertrude Bandini. She is survived by five sisters;Flora Beaumont and Alice Jones;both of Courtland;Ohio;Pricilla Bertouille of Conga park;Calif.;Emma Hutchison of Perryopolis and Virginia Soldati of Belle Vernon. Jessie E.Dawson;87;of 511 Henry St.;Belle Vernon;died Tuesday;Feb.21;1989;at 4:45 a.m.in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Township. Mrs.dawson was born June 9;1901 in Italy;a daughter of the late Egidio and Esther Sylvester. Her husband;William Dawson;died in 1973. Two brothers and two sisters are also deceased. Mrs.Dawson was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. She had resided in the Belle Vernon area for the past 82 years. Surviving are two sons;William A.Dawson of Belle Vernon and Jack Dawson of Belle Vernon R.D.1;one daughter;Lois Culbertson of Belle Vernon;nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Virginia DiGioia;80;of 630 South 14th Street;Monessen;died on Jan.14;1989 at 2:25 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born in Charleroi on April 10;1908;a daughter of the late Philip and Maria Ovino Nicolosi. Mrs. DiGioia was also preceded in death by her husband;Santo DiGioia in 1983;a grandson;Anthony S. DiGioia in 1959;two sisters;Josephine Clausi and Lena Mavrakis;and two brothers;Pietro Nicolosi and Philip Serriano. She was a member of St.Cajetan Roman Catholic Church in Monessen and the Altar-Rosary Society of the same Church. She was a Monessen resident for 76 years. Mrs.DiGioia is survived by two sons;Anthony of Monessen and Philip of Daytona Beach Shores;Fla;one daughter;Josie Marie Iacovangelo of Carroll Township;two brothers;Pete Serriano of Monessen and Anthony Serriano of Donora;seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Raymond D.Dalfonso Funeral Home;441 Reed Avenue;Monessen. A blessing service will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St.Cajetan Roman Catholic Church with Msgr.Lino Ramellini as celebrant. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Jeanette H. Donaldson; 81; of the Humbert Lane Personal care Home; Washington; died Thursday; January 12; 1989; at 10:55 a.m. following a short illness.
She was born April 23; 1907 in Roscoe; a daughter of the late William and Sylvia HAMILTON KERR. Mrs. Donaldson was Protestant by faith. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Robert W. Donaldson Jr.; on May 14; 1964.
Surviving are two daughters; Mrs. Doris GARDNER of Taylor; Michigan; and Mrs. Sharon FARKAS of Perryopolis; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. There will be no visitation; and funeral services will be private. The Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home; Fayette City; is in charge of arrangements.

Stanley W.Dobosh;72;Branthover Street;Belle Vernon;died at Mon Valley Hospital on Monday;Jan.9;1989;at 9:24 a.m.  He was born in Washington Township;Fayette County;on July 27;1916;a son of the late Stefan Dobosh and Helen Somosky Dobosh.  Mr.Dobosh was also preceded in death by one daughter;Darlene Dobosh;in 1950 and one brother;John Dobosh;in 1979.  He was a member of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church of Fayette City;VFW Post 3557 of Fairhope;and UMW Local 6330.  Mr.Dobosh is a World War II veteran;who served in the Army;and was a retired coal miner.  He is survived by his wife;Frances Paro Dobosh;one son;Stephen of belle Vernon;two daughters;Mrs.James (Nancy) Berna of Fayette City and Mrs.William (Cynthia) Patterson of North Charleroi;three sisters from Belle Vernon;Mrs.Alvin (Mary) Hazen;Mrs.Floyd (Nellie) Racey and Mrs.Laura Pankiewicz;and 10 grandchildren.  Friends will be received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday until 9:30 a.m.;when a Prayer service will be held at the funeral home;followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.at Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church in Fayette City.  The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
