James A.Davis;64;of 910 Lynn Ave.;Belle Vernon;died Sunday;Sept.13;1992;at 10:05 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born Dec.15;1927;in Fairhope;a son of the late Bernard and Margaret Mulvaney Davis. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by one brother;William (Barney) Davis;and one sister;Bernadine Sylvester. He was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. He was a lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area. He was born Oct.27;1892;in Smithton;a son of the late Andrew and Mabel Orlando Doty. Mr.Doty retired in 1958 from the Monessen Plant of the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.;where he had been employed as a machinist. Protestant by faith;he had attended St.Luke Lutheran Church of Monessen. Mr.Doty was a member of the NIPA and the French Club;both of Monessen. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife Anna Delzangle Doty;two sons;Daniel and Leonard;a grandson;Duane Doty;three sisters;Rose Destefano;Anna Buffa and Mary Abram;and four brothers;Charles;Joseph;Anthony and Harry.
