He was born Dec.15;1927;in Fairhope;a son of the late Bernard and Margaret Mulvaney Davis. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by one brother;William (Barney) Davis;and one sister;Bernadine Sylvester. He was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. He was a lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area. Survivors include his wife;Eleanor DiPiazza Davis;two daughters;;Mrs.Kenneth (Eileen) Lindey of Belle Vernon and Mrs.David (Susan) Stanley of Lynnwood;four grandchildren;Valerie and Shannon Lindey;and David and Lauren Stanley;two sisters;Virginia Calderone of Belle Vernon;and Carol Dominico of Harrisburg. Daniel Doty;99;of 142 Donner Ave.;Monessen;died Monday;May 25;1992;in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Township;following a three-month illness. He was born Oct.27;1892;in Smithton;a son of the late Andrew and Mabel Orlando Doty. Mr.Doty retired in 1958 from the Monessen Plant of the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.;where he had been employed as a machinist. Protestant by faith;he had attended St.Luke Lutheran Church of Monessen. Mr.Doty was a member of the NIPA and the French Club;both of Monessen. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife Anna Delzangle Doty;two sons;Daniel and Leonard;a grandson;Duane Doty;three sisters;Rose Destefano;Anna Buffa and Mary Abram;and four brothers;Charles;Joseph;Anthony and Harry.
