Sergius (Serg) Deambrogi;84;of Fallowfield Township;died Thursday;Dec.7;1995;at home. Born Jan.1;1911;in Como;Italy;he was the son of the late Joseph and Carmelina Constantini Deambrogi. Mr.Deambrogi was a member of Mary;Mother of the Church Parish;Charleroi. He was a U.S.Army veteran of World War II;having served in the European theatre of operations;and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 167;Charleroi;and the 7th Armored Division Association. He was a retired self-employed contractor and had been a caretaker for several local cemeteries. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by three brothrs;Bernard;Henry and Fred Deambrogi. Surviving are his wife;Mary Bertovich Deambrogi;with whom he celebrated 52 years of marriage on Oct.26;1995;one daughter;Mrs.Clark (Sally Ann) Harrison of Murrysville;one granddaughter;Hayley Harrison;one brother;John Deambrogi of Fallowfield Township;and one sister;Bruna Deambrogi of Fallowfield Township. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Carl J.Spallino Funeral Home;849 fllowfield Ave.;Charleroi. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Third Street worship site of Mary;Mother of the Church Parish;Charleroi; Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. VFW Post 167 will conduct services in the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Arrangements are being handled by the Carl J.Spallino Funeral Home.

Mr.DeAngelis was a lifelong resident of Monessen. He retired from the Page Division of American Chain and Cable Company Inc. He was Catholic by faith.
