Florence Fox Sims Dukstein;77;formerly of Graham Street;Belle Vernon;died Monday;Nov.21;1994;in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born Aug.26;1917;in Charleroi;a daughter of the late Sam and Lillian Hays Fox. She was a lifelong resident of the Mon Valley. She was Protestant by faith. She retired in 1979 as an office secretary for the former Fox Grocery Co.;Rostraver Township. Survivors include one son;Samuel Sims of Rostraver Township;two granddaughters;Helen Lorraine Sims and Jeannette Darlene Mayfield. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her first husband;Daniel Sims in November 1958. There will be no public visitation. He was born Aug.5;1922;in Belle Vernon;a son of the late Joseph and Filomena DeFazio Delia. He was a lifelong member of the Belle Vernon community. He was Catholic by faith. He was a member of the North Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. He retired in 1987 as an electrical inspector for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Survivors include one son;Jimmy Delia;one daughter;Mrs.Tony (Debbie) Kosyder of Enon;two brothers;Frank Delia of Belle Vernon;and Joseph Delia of Glassport;one sister;Rose Delia of Belle Vernon;and two grandsons;Andrew Delia and David Kosyder. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by one sister;Mary Zeli. John S.Drotar;80;of McKean Avenue;Charleroi;died Friday;June 24;1994;at 7:20 p.m.in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Township. Mr.Drotar was born Dec.15;1913;in Belle Vernon;a son of the late Steve and Mary Varga Drotar. He was a retired carpenter;having worked in several area coal mines. Mr.Drotar had been a resident of Charleroi since 1977;having formerly lived in Belle Vernon and Pricedale. He was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Mr.Drotar was a U.S.Army veteran of World War II. He had never married. He is survived by one brother;Joseph Drotar of Tucson;Ariz. Friends will be received Monday from 10 a.m.to noon in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. A Funeral Liturgy will be held Monday at noon in the funeral home.
