Rudolph S.(Rudy) Duda;74;of Belle Vernon (Arnold City);died Thursday;Aug.28;1997;in the Monongahela Valley Hospital. He was born in Arnold City;Washington Township;on Nov.22;1922;a son of the late Frank and Anna Wal Duda. Mr.Duda was a retired employee of the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.from the Allenport plant. He was a veteran of World War II;having served with the U.S.Army. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by a son;Rudolph Duda in 1985. Survivors include his wife;Sarah Nichols Duda;two sons and daughters-in-law;Frank and Suzanne Duda of Fayette City and Kenneth and Barbara Duda of Monongahela;two daughters and sons-in-law;Linda and Bud Aglio of Newell and Margaret and Sam Krolik of Belle Vernon (Lynnwood);10 grandchildren;and a sister;Jennie Nipaver of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Eley/McCrory Funeral Home;Inc.;334 Main St.;Fayette City;and Saturday until 11 a.m.;the hour of service;in the funeral home with pastor Don Chudd of the Lynnwood Lutheran Church officiating. She was born July 9;1922; in
Webster; a daughter of the late
Jerry and Ida Brizzi.
Mrs. Delia resided in Belle
Vernon since 1946 and was formerly of Webster.
She was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic
Church; the Catholic Daughters of America; and the Anita
Garibaldi Society; all of Belle
Vernon. Mrs.Delia taught school for
many years in the Monessen
Catholic schools; retiring in
1982.
In addition to her parents;
she was preceded in death by
four brothers.
Survivors include her husband; Frank Delia; whom she
married on Oct I7; 1942; a
daughter; Linda Jean Delia of
Uniontown; and a son; Eugene
T. Delia of Belle Vernon.
Friends will be received Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the
Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;
700 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon. A Prayer service will be held in the funeral home Saturday at 9:30 a.m.;followed by Funeral Mass at 10 a.m.in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.is handling the arrangements.
