Mrs.Jewell was born November 19;1895;in Pittsville;Wis.;a daughter of the late August and Augusta Sowatzki. She had resided in Belle Vernon the past 10 years and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon. She was a member of the Sara Simpson Rebecca Lodge of Elrama;a past matron of Elrama Malta Lodge;and was an elder and past Sunday School teacher at Elrama Presbyterian Church. Lawrence T.Johnston of Worthington R.D.2;died Tuesday;Feb.1;1983;at 5:30 a.m.at his home.  He was 68.  Mr.Johnston was born July 11;1914;in Belle Vernon;a son of the late John Fullerton and Laura Kerns Johnston. Nick Jupin of Charleroi R.D.1;died Friday;April 2;1982 at 6 a.m.in the Mercy Hospital;Pittsburgh. He was 67. Mr.Jupin was born Nov.5;1914 in Pricedale;a son of the late Michael and Anna Jupin.
