Mrs.Morgan was born Dec.22;1899;in Belle Vernon;a daughter of the late Ernest and Leonora Farquhar Lenhart. A school teacher by profession;she taught in the Marion and North Belle Vernon elementary schools from 1918 to 1927. Mrs.Morgan spent most of her life in the Belle Vernon area;and had lived in Allison Park for the past four years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church;Belle Vernon. In addition to her parents;she was also preceded in death by her husband;John Edward Morgan;who died in 1960;and by a daughter;Jackie Johnston;who died in 1982. Alden C.Mills of 316 Wood St.;Belle Vernon;died Saturday;Oct.10;1987;at 12:30 p.m.at his home. He was 67. Mr.Mills was born Aug.10;1920;in Belle Vernon; son of the late Edward and Cora Neil Mills. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Belle Vernon. Mr.Mills was also a member of the Fraternal order of Eagles;Monessen;and the Loyal Order of Moose No.209;Belle Vernon. He retired from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.;Allenport Plant;in 1979;and had been a freelance artist and sign painter the past 40 years. Mr.Mills was a life member of Belle Vernon Fire Department No.2. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Earl S.Mackey;February 1975;a sister;Alma Siple;1930;and a brother;Benjamin Siple;1978. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Monessen. Mrs.Mackey is survived by a sister;Mrs.Melvin A.(Jane) Johnston of Belle Vernon. Chapel services were held in Monessen at 1 p.m.with the Rev.Kenneth J.Peters officiating. Burial followed in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
