Surviving are two daughters;Mary Ada Zaucha of Belle Vernon and Mrs.William (Evelyn) Sedlak of North Charleroi;eight grandchildren;six great-grandchildren;and two sisters;Marie Lewis of California;Pa. and Aline Torres of Washington;Pa. Theodore Mazur;72;of Parente Boulevard;Monessen;died Tuesday;May 28;1996;at 10:38 a.m.at his home. He waS born in Monessen;Sept.20;1923;a son of the late Victor and Katherine Mazur. Mr.Mazur was a member of First Christian Church of Belle Vernon. He was a former member of the VFW of Monessen. A lifelong resident of Monessen;he had been an appliance repairman for the former Check Furniture Store in Monessen;retiring in 1985. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S.Navy. Robert L.McElfresh;64;of 736 Ross St.;Monessen;died Sunday;March 3;1996;in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Township. Born Aug.14;1931;in Monessen;he was a son of Ida Weible McElfresh and the late Frank McElfresh. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Monessen. A U.S.Army veteran of the Korean War;Mr.McElfresh was a member of VFW Post 1190 of Monessen where he had served as senior vice commander. A 1949 graduate of Monessen High School;he retired in 1992 from the American Chain and Cable Co.;Page Division;Monessen. In addition to his father;he was preceded in death by a son;Robert McElfresh.
