Mrs.Monita lived in Belle Vernon since 1934 and was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church and its St.Barbara Altar Guild. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;John Monita;who died March 8;1986;and a granddaughter;Victoria Hatalowich;who died June 30;1975. Surviving are three daughters;Virginia Urchick of Monessen;Victoria LaPenna of Belle Vernon and Vera Merella of West Newton;five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
