John Park of 308 Market Street;Fayette City;died Tuesday;May 23;1978;at 7:15 p.m.in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. he was 80. Mr.Park was born in Ricing;Pa.;on March 3;1898 and was the son of the late Alexander and Margaret McBlane Park. A veteran of World War II;having served in the U.S.Army;Mr.Park was retired from the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Survivors include his widow;Minnie Natola Park;two step-daughters;Mrs.Doris Breckenridge of Belle Vernon R.D.2 and Mrs.Lorraine Beaudry of Rapid River;Mich.;a sister;Mrs.Jennie Cameron;several nieces and nephews;several step-grandchildren and five great-step-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;after 7 p.m.Wednesday. Services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m.in the funeral home with the Rev.Fred G.Gnatuk. former resident of Rostraver
Twp.; who resided at Scottdale
R D 1; died Wednesday;Feb.1;1978;at 4:15
p. m. in Uniontown Hospital;
following an illness of several
months.
Mrs. Parton was born Jan.
12; 1891 in Riverview; Pa and
had been a resident of
Rostraver Twp. her entire
adult life. She moved to
Scottdale about 10 years ago.
She was a member of the
Church of Ihe Nazarene of
Scottdale.
Mrs. Parton was preceded
in death by her husband;
Thomas Lester Parton; who
died in April of 1966.
Survivors include two
brothers; Thomas Byers of
Scottdale and Foster Byers
of Eighty Four and several
nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in
the Robert A Billick Funeral
Home in Monessen from 2 to 4 p. m. and 7 to 9 p. m. on Friday. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m.with the Rev.John A.Goodworth officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Robert A.Billick;funeral director in charge.

Born in Fairhope on Oct. 31;
1924; he was a son of the late
George T. and Elizabeth
Anderson Peters. He was a
lifelong resident of the Belle
Vernon area.
Mr. Peters belonged to the
Marion Presbyterian Church.
He was employed by the
Monessen-South Western
Railroad at the Wheeling-
Pittsburgh Steel Corp. and
was a veteran of service with
the U.S. Air Force during
World War II.
Surviving are his widow;
Carolyn (Betty) Grazzini
Peters; three sons; Charles W.
Peters Jr. and David A.
Peters; both of Belle Vernon;
and Donald R. Peters of
Milford; Conn.; two brothers;
George T. Peters and Robert
Peters; both of Belle Vernon;
one sister; Mrs. Charles
(Ida May) Holet of Monessen;
and four grandchildren.
Friends will be received at
the Shelby D. Ferguson
Funeral Home; Belle Vernon;
from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Friday. Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 1 p.m.with the Rev.Robert H.R.Loughborough Jr.of the Marion Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. born March 18; 1936; in Beckley; W.Va.; a son of the late ltd
and Lucy Phillips Oliver. Mr.
Oliver was a resident of Washington Township the past 35
years and was a member of St.
Sebastian Roman Catholic
Church of Belle Vernon. He was
a retired supervisor from Fruehauf Corp. in Uniontown. An
U.S. Army veteran; he was a
member of Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 and the
VFW Belle Vernon Area Post
699. Mr. Oliver formerly served
on the board of directors at the
Center on the Hill. Survivors
include his wife; Margarcta
Krabichlcr Oliver; a son and
daughter-in-law; Susan and
John Diamond of Duncdin;
Fla.; one brother; James Oliver
of Titusville; Fla.; and one sister; Phyllis Huffman of Forest;
Va. In addition to his parents;
he was preceded in death by
