Charles (Babe) Package of Carmichaels; formerly of Fayette City;
died Friday; Aug. 17;1984; at 9 a.m. in
the Greene County Memorial Hospital;
Waynesburg. He was 75.
Mr. Package was born in Fayette City on Aug. 9; 1909; a son of the late
Charles and Sarah Sodivich Package.
He was Orthodox Catholic by faith
and was retired from the Allenport
plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel
Corp.
Survivors include his wife; Anna
Scornce Package of Brownsville; two
sons; Thomas of Millsboro and George
of Washington; a daughter; Mrs.
Theodore (Sylvia) Roddgers of the
Bahama Islands; four grandchildren;
Ann; Michael; James and Thomas
Package; two brothers; William of
Fayette City and Nicholas of Aspinwall.
Friends will be received at the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home; Fayette City; on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.and all day Sunday. A Blessing Service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 9 a.m.with the Rev.Father John Kluchko officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Mrs.Plawniak was born March 10;1924;in Naomi;a daughter of the late Joseph Barnot and Stella Plewniak who survives and resides in Washington;Pa. A lifelong member of the Fairhope community;she was a member of St.Sebastian’s Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Pittsburgh. He was 77.
Mr. Pierotti was born July
23;1906; in Monessen; a son of
the late Joseph and Lila
Walsh Pierotti.
He was a retired employee
of the Monessen Plant of
Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel
Corporation.
Mr. Pierotti had lived in the
Passavant Health Center the
past five years.
In addition to his parents;
he was preceded in death by
two brothers; Walter Pierotti
in 1981; and Raymond Pierotti m 1951.
Mr. Pierotti was a member
of the Seaman Memorial
Lutheran Church of Zelienople; and was a former
member of the Lutheran
Church of Belle Vernon and
its church choir.
Surviving are his wife;Cleo Marie Hanly Pierotti;one brother;George Pierotti;of Monessen;one sister;Mrs.Helen DeiCas ;of Charleroi;a sister-in-law;DeVota Pierotti;of Monessen;and several nieces and nephews. George Perri of 630 Braddock Ave.;Monessen;died Wednesday;Feb.15;1984;at 4:15 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. He was 89. Born in Italy on Aug.15;1894;he was a son of the late Carmine and Carmella Stumpo Perri. Mr.Perri was a member of St.Cajetan Catholic Church of Monessen;the Monessen Sons of Italy and the Italian Society of Mutual Aid. He was a resident of Monessen since 1913. He retired from the construction department of the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel in 1970. In addition to his parents;Mr.Perri was preceded in death by two brothers;Santo Perri in 1983 and Joseph Perri in 1974. A sister;Rosaria Beningcasa also preceded him in death in 1980. Surviving are his wife;Frances Perri;three nephews and two nieces.
