Born in Washington Township on July 27;1916;she was a daughter of the late Paul and Mary Butsman Hegedus. Mrs.Pokol was a Catholic by faith. She was a retired cafeteria worker for Rutgers University in New Jersey. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by two brothers;Paul and Louis hegedus. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon;Mr.Popp celebrated 51 years of marriage last February. In 1972 he retired from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.where he had been employed by the Monessen Southwestern Railroad. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.
