A lifelong resident of Monessen;she was a member of St.John the Divine Russian Orthodox Church;Monessen; In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband Michael Pobok on Oct.2;1993;one brother;William Grabania;and four sisters;Ann McKosky;Mary Evans;Rose Kostura and Pauline Sypolt. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law;Daniel J.Pobok;at home;and Michael and Lynn Pobok os Santa Clara;Calif.;one granddaughter;Victoria Pobok;and one sister;Mildred Grabania. Mrs.Pro was born Sept.12;1907;in Belle Vernon;the daughter of the late John and Margaret Jane McClain Bowen. A buyer for the former Collins Department Store who retired after 19 years;she was a member of the French Club of North Charleroi;past officer in the Ladies Auxiliary of the Charleroi VFW. She is survived by one daughter-in-law;Mary Lee Ward of Florida;four grandchildren;Susan and husband Lloyd Markle of Smithton;Leslie and husband Brent Drowry of Columbus;Ohio;Melissa Ward of Florida and Pamela Ward of Charleroi;with whom she made her home;11 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Raymond Pro in 1976;one son;Albert Ward in 1997 and one brother;William Bowen. She was a charter member;past president and organizer of the Ladies Auxiliary Fraternal Order of the Eagles 2399 and a social member of the Croatian and Hungarian clubs;all of Monessen.
