Mildred Pivarnik Parks;77;of Monessen;passed away Tuesday;May 9;2000;in Mt. Macrina Manor. She was born Nov.12;1922;in Monessen;a daughter of the late Andrew and Susan Balint Pivarnik. She was a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Church and a Monessen High School graduate. She graduated from California State Teacher’s College with a bachelor’a degree in education certified to teach elementary;secondary English and social studies and special education. She taught at Bentleyville;Belle Vernon and Monessen for 42 years. She is preceded in death by her husband;Kyle W.Parks;who passed away in 1991. She is survived by a sister;Marilyn S.Pivarnik of Monessen and stepchildren. Burial will be celebrated Monday at 9:30 a.m. in Transfiguration R.C. Church; Monongahela; with the Rev. William
