Mildred Pivarnik Parks;77;of Monessen;passed away Tuesday;May 9;2000;in Mt. Macrina Manor.  She was born Nov.12;1922;in Monessen;a daughter of the late Andrew and Susan Balint Pivarnik.  She was a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Church and a Monessen High School graduate.  She graduated from California State Teacher’s College with a bachelor’a degree in education certified to teach elementary;secondary English and social studies and special education.  She taught at Bentleyville;Belle Vernon and Monessen for 42 years.  She is preceded in death by her husband;Kyle W.Parks;who passed away in 1991.   She is survived by a sister;Marilyn S.Pivarnik of Monessen and stepchildren.  Friends will be received in the RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC.;a golden rule funeral home;1209 Grand Blvd.;Monessen;Thursday from 8 to 10 a.m.;where Prayers will be held at 10 a.m.;followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Epiphany of Our Lord Church;Monessen at 10:30 a.m.  Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Sandra R. Pearce; 61; of
Fisher Heights; Carroll Township; died Friday; March 24;
2000; in Mon Valley Hospital.
Born Aug. 14;1938; in Monongahela; she was the daughter
of the late Peter Jr. and Rhea
Hepner Dalola. Mrs. Pearce
currently worked as a cashier
at the Fisher Heights Giant
Eagle; where she had been
employed the past 17 years. A
1956 graduate of Rostraver
High School; she was a member of Transfiguration Roman
Catholic Church; Monongahela; and its CD of A. Survivors include her husband;
James G. Pearce; whom she
married Jan. 7; 1960; two
daughters Debra Ann Pearce
of Erie and Theresa Ann
Pearce of Monongahela; and
three sisters; Dorothy Pekar of
Fellsburg; Helen LaPresti of
Monongahela;Carroll Township and Frances Kotorn of
Lynnwood. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9
p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. in the MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL
HOME; 216 Chess St.; Monongahela. Mass of Christian
Burial will be celebrated Monday at 9:30 a.m. in Transfiguration R.C. Church; Monongahela; with the Rev. William
Feeney as celebrant. Interment will follow in Belle
Vernon Cemetery. Rosary will
be recited Sunday at 6:45 p.m.

death by her husband; Joseph

Besides her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;John Pendro;a sister;Anges Bowers;and two brothers;Joseph and Frank Krivda.
