Mary P.Ritzer of Belle Vernon R.D.5 (Gibsonton) died Wednesday April 27;1983;at 8:15 p.m.in Mon Valley Hospital. She was 77. Born in Monessen on Oct.1;1905;she was the daughter of the late Morgan E.and Mary Tucker James. Mrs.Ritzer was a member of the First Baptist Church of Monessen and the N.A.B.A.of Charleroi. She was an active worker for the Democratic Party in Rostraver Township for many years. Mrs.Ritzer came to the Belle Vernon area from Monessen in 1929. She was preceded in death by her husband;George A.Ritzer in September of 1972 and a brother;Morgan E.James Jr.Surviving are a son;Donald R.;and his wife;Jackie Ritzer of Charleroi;a sister;Mrs.Winnifred Lancaster of Belle Vernon R.D.5;two grandsons and one great-granddaughter. Mr.Rice was born Oct.24;1919;in Fayette City;a son of the late Charles and Sarah Maude Oliphant Rice. A resident of the Mon Valley his entire life;Mr.Rice was protestant by faith. Charles Radek;70;of Pricedale;died Friday;Dec.10;1982;at 7:15 a.m. in the Mon Valley Hospital. Mr.Radek was born Sept.27;1912;in Molinar;Pa.;a son of the late Matthew and Wilhermina Radek. A resident of Pricedale since 1932;he was Protestant by faith. Mr.Radek served with the U.S.Army from 1928-1932. He was a retired employee of the United Mine Workers and was a former employee of Lincoln Homes;Elizabeth. Mr.Robinson was born April 6;1919;in Gibsonton;Pa.;a son of the late James and Maude Heldebran Robinson. A member of VFW Post 167;Charleroi;he served as a corporal in the U.S.Army during World War II. Mr.Robinson retired in 1980 as a craneman in the strip mill of the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.;Allenport Plant.
