Scott W.Russell of Juniper Drive;Coraopolis;formerly of Fayette City R.D.1;died suddenly on Friday;Dec.9;1983;at 2:30 p.m.at his home. He was 25. Mr.Russell was born May 14;1958;in North Charleroi;a son of Ross and Lola Boord Russell;who survive and reside in Fayette City R.D.1. He was a member of the Fayette City United Presbyterian Church. Mr.Russell was employed as manager of the Burger King Restaurant in Moon Township. Howard A.Rhodes of 307 Center st.;Belle Vernon;died Tuesday;Nov.8;1983;at 12:55 a.m.in the Mon Valley Hospital. He was 72. Mr.Rhodes was born June 2;1911;in Charleroi;a son of the late Herman and Mary Sharpenberg Rhodes. A resident of Belle Vernon since 1950;he retired from the U.S.Postal Service in 1972;having been a letter carrier in Brentwood and Charleroi. Mr.Rhodes was a U.S.Army vetern of World War II. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;Helen Feryok Rhodes;in May 1970. Survivors include one daughter;Mrs.Michael (Suzanne)Kuba of Upper St.Clair;and two sisters;Mrs.Arvilla Greene of San Antonio;Texas;and Mrs.Ethel Waggoner of Charleroi. James Rizzutto;77;of 922 Graham St.;North Belle Vernon;died Friday;Oct.7;1983;at 4:05 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital;Inc. Born May 24;1906;in Belle Vernon;he was the son of the late Dominick and Mary Frederico Rizzutto. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by one brother;Sam Richards;and a sister;Anna Johnson. Surviving are his wife;Sophie McCluskey Rizzutto;three sons;James of ElPaso;Texas;Michael of Brooklyn;Ohio;and Thomas of Mechanicsburg;and one daughter;Mrs.William (Patricia) Aubrey of Belle Vernon. Also surviving are three brothers;Joseph of Belle Vernon;Albert of Washington;D.C.;and Louis of Pittsburgh;four sisters;Mrs.Theresa Bernardo and Mary Rogowitz;both of Monessen;Margarete Bercini of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Verdon (Jean) Goshorn of Hernando;Fla.;11 grandchildren;six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr.Rizzutto was a lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon community. He retired in 1978 as a steward for the Labor Temple in Charleroi. He was a Catholic.
