the U.S. Navy in World War II.
A resident of Belle Vernon the past
20 years; he was employed at the
State Liquor Store in Belle Vernon.
In addition to his parents; he was
preceded in death by four brothers;
Walter; James; Lloyd and William;
a sister; Thelma Rosborough
Shearer; and a grandson; Jason
Brett Buck.
Survivors include his wife; Ruth
Jones Rosborough; three daughters;
Mrs. Dennis (Linda) Buck; Mrs.
John (Debbie) Kerekes III and Mrs.
Walter (Donna) Clegg; all of
Donora; a brother; Robert C.
Rosborough Sr. of Donora; two
sisters; Mrs. Adam (Ruth) Koday
and Mrs. Marjorie Johnston; both of
Donora; and nine grandchildren;

Mr.Rogers was born Aug.16;1915;in Dunkirk;Pa.;a son of the late Alexander and Josephine Barbero Rogers. He was a retired auto body repairman with the former H & B Chevrolet in Charleroi. Mr.Rogers was a member of the Italia Unita Club of Charleroi;the Charleroi Sportsmen’s Club and the Ellsworth Sportsmen’s Club. Mr.Roe was born Aug.16;1908;in Brooklyn;N.Y.;a son of the late Charles and Olga Roe. He was a retired steelworker;having been employed in the Shipping Department of the Monessen Works of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation. Mr.Roe was a member of St.Luke Lutheran Church and the VFW Post;both of Monessen. He was a U.S.Army veteran of World War II. A brother;John Roe;is deceased. Joseph A.Rovny of 317 spiker Ave.;Belle Vernon;died Tuesday;March 11;1986;at 7 a.m.in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Twp. He was 70. Born Nov.6;1915;in Roscoe;he was a son of the late George and Susie Rovny. Mr.Rovny was preceded in death by a sister. A lifelong Mon Valley resident;he was a member of St.Joseph Roman Catholic Church of Roscoe. He retired from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.;Allenport Plant;where he worked in the slab yard. A veteran of World War II;Mr.Rovny served with the U.S.Navy. He received the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with 11 stars;the World War II Victory Medal;the American Area Campaign Medal;the Navy unit commendation and the Good Conduct Medal. Mr.Rovny was a member of the Roscoe American Legion Post 801;the Loyal Order of Moose;Roscoe Lodge 338;and the Slovak Beneficial Society of Roscoe. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Charleroi and was a charter member of the Charleroi Area Historical Society. He was a graduate of the Douglas School of Business of Monessen. He was affiliated with Macbeth Evans and later with Corning Glass for 47 years. After retiring;he served as cashier for the Charleroi Chamber of Commerce parking lot. Survivors include his wife;Florence Salsgiver Rossomme;a daughter;Doris Rossomme of Pittsburgh;and a brother;Raymond Rossomme of Venice;Fla.
