Rose Apicella Rocchino;66;of 713 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;died Saturday;March 12;1994;at 2:45 p.m.in Mon Valley Hospital. Born April 13;1927;in Maiori;Italy;she was the daughter of the late Gaetano and Maria Battista Apicella. Mrs.Rocchino was a resident of the Belle Vernon community for the past 43 years;37 of which she spent with her late husband operating the former Rocchino Cleaners on Broad Avenue in North Belle Vernon. She was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon;and its Ladies Guild. She was also a member of Court Belle Vernon 1522 Catholic Daughters of the Americas;the Anita Garibaldi Lodge in Belle Vernon;the Ladies Auxiliary of Belle Vernon;American Legion Post 659 and the Belle Vernon Golden Age Assembly. Mrs.Rocchino was a volunteer for the Meals on Wheels program in Belle Vernon. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Mario Alfred Rocchino;who died Aug.9;1976. Surviving are two daughters;Mrs.John (Elaine) Posteraro of Wexford and Mrs.Tony (Lillian) Logan of Detroit;Mich.;one son and his wife;Jonathan Paul and Joanne Rocchino of Mechanicsburg;seven grandchildren;one brother;Tomaso Apicella of Agropoli;Italy;and three sisters;Mrs.Antonio (Maria) Ferliano of Nocera Terinese;Italy;and Mrs.Vittorio (Elena) Scarano and Mrs.Gianni (Giovanna) Colina;both of Maiori;Italy and an uncle and aunt;Giovanni and Elena Battista of Maiori;Italy. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where a prayer service will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.;followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. Mary Ann Anderson Rawls;35;of San Jose;Calif.;formerly of Monessen;died Sunday Jan.30;1994;at 12 a.m.in Stanford University Hospital;San Jose;Calif. after a lengthy illness. Virginia R.Riili;59;of Charleroi;died Jan.6;1994;in Hawthorne;Nev.  She was born Aug.8;1934;in Charleroi;a daughter of the late Grover and Elizabeth Lane Schuller.  Mrs.Riili was a member of Mary Mother of the Church Parish;Charleroi.  She was raised by the late Virginia Soldotti.  She was also preceded in death by her husband;Ben;in 1988;and by a daughter;Mary Elizabeth;in 1958.  Survivors include three sons;Peter Riili of Hawthorne;Nev.;David and John Riili;both of Springfield;Mo.;one daughter;Anganette Riili of Monongahela;five grandchildren;one brother;Terry Bandini of Daisytown;and one sister;Carol Clark of Belle Vernon.  The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;Belle Vernon;is in charge of arrangements.  There will be no public visitation.   Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. 

Private services were held Wednesday morning Jan.19;1994;for Margaret Ritarcik;88;of 216 Rear Cook Road;Belle Vernon;who died Tuesday;Jan.18;1994;at 6:53 a.m.in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born March 28;1905;a daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Lachman Brazzon. Mrs.Ritarcik was Roman Catholic by faith. She is survived by a daughter;Mrs.John (Dorothy) Canigiani of New Eagle;four grandchildren;Mrs.Charles (Sheri) Battaglia;with whom she made her home;Lynne Hefner;Glenn Canigiani and John Scott Canigiani;seven great-grandchildren;including a great-granddaughter;Dana;and one sister;Frances Glister. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Joseph Ritarick in May of 1972. Interment is in Belle Vernon Cemetery. George J.Roberts;65;of Pricedale;died Tuesday;Oct.26;1993;in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Township. Mr.Roberts was born Jan.30;1928;in Monessen;a son of the late Lee Jackson Roberts and Mary Brown Roberts. He was retired from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation;having worked as an open hearth rigger in the Monessen plant for 47 years. Mr.Roberts also served as a paratrooper for the U.S.Army during World War II. He was a member of the
Mentor Road Bible Church in Forward Township. Surviving are his wife;Leona Johnson Roberts;a son;Daniel Roy Roberts of Monessen;two daughters;Mrs.Robert (Jacqueline) Baluch of Connellsville and Mrs.Gary (Marlene) Haines of Charleroi;a brother;James E.Roberts of Detroit;Mich.;three sisters;Mrs.Robert (Betty) Adams of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Harry (Mary Ann) Kreuter of Monessen and Mrs.Leo (Loretta) Rice of Monessen;four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
