Born Oct.23;1898;in Vandergrift;he was a son of the late Joseph and Anna Stefnik and a long-time resident of Fayette City before moving to Arnold City. He was a retired barber by trade. He was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church of Belle Vernon. Surviving are his widow;Mrs.Mary Onufer Stefnik;one son;Ralph Stefnik of Wheeling;W.Va.;one daughter;Mrs.Edith Snead of Phoenix;Ariz.;one sister;Mrs.Mary Magaro of Vandergrift;five grandchildren;and two great-grandchildren.
