Born April 25;1910;in Belle Vernon;she was a daughter of the late William and Maria Holland Mears. Mrs.Smith was a resident of Belle Vernon until 1992;when she moved to Haines City;Fla. She also resided in Mansfield since 1993. She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters;Mrs.Wayne (Donna) Dias of Haines City;Fla.;and Mrs.Dale (Bobbie Ann) Stone of Mansfield;four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by a daughter;Darlene L.Patterson;who died on June 1;1995;a grandson;Kevin Patterson;in 1960;her first husband;Robert Scott and her second husband;Herbert Smith in 1991. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.at the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon.
