Dewey Street; Dunlevy; died
Thursday; Jan. 18; 1990; at 10:58
p.m. in the Mercy Hospital;
Pittsburgh.
He was born in Dunlevy Oct. 8;
1931; a son of the late Ferdinand
Tonarelli who died in 1937 and
Clara Traversari Tonarelli; who
died in 1978.
Mr. Tonarelli was a member
of the Mother of Sorrows Roman
Catholic Church of Charleroi
and the Holy Name Society of
the church. He was a member of
the Knights of Columbus; the
American Legion and the
Garibaldi Club of Dunlevy. He
was a lifelong resident of
Dunlevy.
Previously; he was a welder at the former Combustion
Engineering Plant of East
Monongahela. He was an Army
Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
In addition to his parents; he
was preceded in death by two
brothers; Ronald Tonarelli in
1929 and Alfao Tonarelli in 1939.
He is survived by his wife;
Shirley Dando Tonarelli; two
sons; Scott of North Wales; Pa.
and Christopher of Charleroi;
one daughter; Christina
Tonarelli of Ambler; Pa.; and
two brothers; Albert Tonarelli of
Charleroi and Ferdinand
Tonarelli of Belle Vernon.
Friends will be received at the
Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;
700 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon;Saturday from 7 to 9 p m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friends will gather at the funeral home in Belle Vernon at 8:45 a.m. Monday to go to the Mother of Sorrows Church in Charleroi at 9:30 a.m.for Mass of Christian Burial with the Rev.Pierre Sodini of the Mother of Sorrows Church officiating. Interment will be held in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of arrangements.

Mr.Trasatti was born Sept.2;1929;in Bentleyville;a son of the late James and Theresa Schamberg Trasatti. He retired in January of 1986 from the hot strip department of USX Corporation’s Irwin Works. Mr.Trasatti was a life-long resident of the Mon Valley. He was a member of St.Jerome Roman Catholic Church;Charleroi. A brother;Stanley Trasatti;is deceased. Joseph E. (Butch) Tordy;66;of 113 Pearl St.;Belle Vernon;died Friday;Oct.7;1988;in Allegheny General Hospital;Pittsburgh. Mr.Tordy was born July 24;1922;in Pricedale;a son of the late Joseph and Julia Puskas Tordy. He was an employee of the page Aluminized Steel Corportation;Monessen. Mr.Tordy served in the U.S.Army with both the Airborne Engineers and the Combat Engineers during World War II. He was a member of St.Luke Lutheran Church;Monessen. Surviving are his wife;Elaine Hahne Tordy;one son;Joseph E.
