Born in Italy on March 26;1898;she was the daughter of the late Josephine and Angeline Spadafore. A resident of Belle Vernon since she was five years old;Mrs.Venneri was a member of St.Sebastian Catholic Church of Belle Vernon and the Goodwill Club of Charleroi. She was preceded in death by her husband;Charles Venneri on March 28;1973. She is survived by two sons;William M.(Ducky) Venneri Sr.of Belle Vernon;former mayor of Belle Vernon;and Eugene V.(Vic) Venneri;also of Belle Vernon;one daughter;Mrs.George (Helen) Thieser of Charleroi;two brothers;Frank Spadafore of Monessen and Alfred Spadafore of Charleroi;seven grandchildren;and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon from 7 to 9 p.m.Monday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Tuesday. Mr.Venneri was born in Italy;Dec.27;1892;and had resided in Belle Vernon for over 60 years. He was a veteran of World War II;having served with the U.S.Army. Mr.Venneri was a member of the Belle Vernon American Legion and the V.F.W.of Newell. He was preceded in death by a brother;Charles Venneri;on March 28;1973. Mr.Venneri is survived by two nephews;William M.Venneri;with whom he resided;and Eugene Venneri of Belle Vernon;and one niece;Mrs.George (Helen) Thieser of Charleroi. Eugene L.Vaccaro;53;of Rostraver Twp.;Belle Vernon;died Thursday;Jan.12;1978;at 2:22 p.m. in Allegheny General Hospital;Pittsburgh. Born March 17;1924;in Belle Vernon;he was a son of Mrs.Rose Mendicino Vaccaro of Belle Vernon and the late John Vaccaro;who passed away in 1957. He was employed as a track foreman by the Pittsburgh & Lake Erie Railroad and was a a member of the M.and W.Local Union. He was a member of St.Sebastian Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council 3026;both of Belle Vernon. A U.S.navy veteran of World War II;he was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1605 of Newell. In addition to his father;he was preceded in death by two brothers;Anthony (Tony) in 1976 and Gasper in 1973;and a sister;Mary Vaccaro. Surviving are his widow;Mrs.Valeria Kukan Vaccaro;one daughter;Regina Vaccaro;at home;one brother;Joseph of Belle Vernon one sister;Mrs.Al (Julie) DiNardo of Pittsburgh and several nieces and nephews.
