Monessen; died Tuesday; Jan.
28; 1997; at her residence.
She was born June 23;1929; a
daughter of the late Simuel Galloway and Ruth Rochester.
Mrs. Turner worked as a cook
for Monessen Elementary
school for many years and as a
volunteer for Monongahela Valley Hospital.
She was a member of the
Wayman A.M.E. Church of
Monessen; where she served as
a Sunday school teacher and on
the usher board.
Survivors include her husband; Major G.W.Turner;four daughters; Jennifer Patterson
of Monongahela; Kathleen
Rawlins of Pittsburgh; Vicki
Kizzie and Deborah Reynolds;
both of Monessen; one sister;
Bess Davis of Chicago; Ill.; one brother;George Calloway of Victorville;Calif.; eight
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by a
brother;Wesley Calloway.
Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
and Saturday until 11 a.m. in
the Wayman A.M.E. Church;
Reed Avenue; Monessen. Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m.;also in the Wayman A.M.E.Church. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.The

Born March 22; 1924; in
Broughton; she was the
daughter of the late Harry and
Ann Gezzer Weightman.
Mrs. Turner spent most of
her adult life in Rostraver
Township and was a member of
Pricedale Union Church.
She retired in 1972 from the
Westmoreland County Juvenile
Home; where she had been a
matron. She was also employed
as a school van driver for
Groomes Transit until 1988.
In addition to her parents;
she was preceded in death by
her husband; Raymond H. Turner;
on Sept. 22; 1983.
Surviving are one daughter
and son-in-law; Manila and Michael
Shutman of Blackwood;
N.J.; two grandchildren; Joel R.
Shutman and Margaret A. Carter;
and a brother-in-law;
George P. Turner of Pricedale.
Friends will be received Saturday
from noon to 1 p.m. in the Ferguson
Funeral Home Inc.; 700
Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon;where services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m.with Pastor James Mimidis of Pricedale Union Church officiating. Intement will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Born Sept.27;1904;in Dunlevy;she was a daughter of the late Louis and Mary Yakomelli Bartoletti. A lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area;she had been a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church for over 60 years. Mrs.Tintori was a charter member of the Annita Garibaldi Society of Belle Vernon. She was also a member of Catholic Daughters of the Americas; Belle Vernon Court 1522. William Trenk;76;of (Fairhope);Belle Vernon;died Friday;May 17;1996;in the Monongahela Valley Hospital after a short illness. He was born May 5;1920;in Fairhope;the son of the late Louis and Anna Tomaja Trenk. Mr.Trenk was Catholic by faith and a member of the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church of Fayette City. He was also a retired employee of the Washington Township Municipal Authority. He was a veteran of World War II;having served with the U.S.Army;where he received a Purple Heart for his wounds. He also was a member of the Brightwell Daugherty Post 484;American Legion of Fayette City;V.F.W. Post of Belle Vernon and the Fairhope Rod and Gun Club.
