A lifelong member of the Belle Vernon community;he was also a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. He was retired from the P&LE Railroad where he was employed as a supervisor. A veteran of World War II;he served in the U.S.Army and was a member of the Disabled Veterans Association. He was an avid deer hunter.
He was retired after 41 years
of service from Rieck’s Sealtest
Company of Charleroi and was
also formerly employed by
Allied Security Agency.

Mrs.Vaccaro was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon;and a member of the Church Women. Additionally she was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary;the AARP;the Golden Agers of Belle Vernon and the Belle Vernon Women’s Club. Mrs.Vaccaro was a graduate of California State Teachers College. She taught English and history at Centerville High School and then taught at the former Belle Vernon High School. She retired from the Belle Vernon Area School District in 1989 with 33 years of service. At the time of her retirement she was head of the high school’s English Department. She is survived by a son and his wife;Dennis J.and Beth Vaccaro of Belle Vernon R.D.5;and a granddaughter;Nicole K.Vaccaro.
