James Leroy (Mose) Washington;94;of 7726 Penbrook Place;Landover;Md.;formerly of Monessen;died Thursday;June 30;1994;at 8:30 a.m. in Lafayette Manor;Uniontown. Mr.Washington was born Dec.29;1899;in Braddock;a son of the late Lee and Lula Washington. He was a retired employee of the former Monessen plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation. Mr.Washington had been a resident of Monessen for many years before moving to Landover;Md. He was a member of a musical quartet called The Wheeling Four. Mr.Washington’s wife;Laura;died in 1975. weekly bible study classes;
taught a discipleship class for
new Christians and led the daily
morning praise service.
She was a former member of
Antioch Baptist Church; Belle
Vernon.
