Mr. Wasicek was born Oct.
21;1909; in Fayette City; a son
of the late August and Justina Turchek Wasicek.
A resident of North Belle
Vernon the past seven years;
he was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church.
Mr. Wasicek retired in 1973
as a foreman for General
Electric Co. in Cleveland; Ohio; where he had been employed for more than 45
years.
He was a member of the Sportsmen’s Club of Cleveland; the Belle Vernon
Golden Agers and the AARP. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister; Margaret Yablonski; and a brother; Charles Wasicek. Survivors include his widow; Ann Mozdzen Moleski
Wasicek; a son; Joseph V. Wasicek of Atlanta; Ga.; two brothers; August of Belle Vernon and Lewis of Charleroi; a
sister; Mrs. Emma Rehula of
Charleroi; and one grandson;
Joseph A. Wasicek of Atlanta;Ga.
Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
in the Leonard J Parzynski Funeral Home; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon;where a Prayer service will be held Wednesday;Jan.25;at 9:30 a.m.;followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.in St.Sebastian Church.
