He retired as an electrician
of the Allenport plant of Pittsburgh Steel Co. after 40 years
service.

Mr.Bickerton was born in West Elizabeth;May 13;1892;a son of the late William and Clara Jane Graham Bickerton. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church;Charleroi. He was a veteran of World War I;having served with the 1st Division in France. He belonged to the Mon Valley World War I Barracks and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 167;Charleroi. He was a retired employee of the Allenport Plant;Pittsburgh Steel Co. Surviving are his widow;Virginia Sneed Bickerton;two brothers;Robert;Charleroi R.D.2 and Harvey Bickerton;Charleroi; a sister;Lucinda Bickerton;Charleroi R.D.2 and a niece;Mrs.George (Babe) Boulanger;Charleroi R.D.2.
