He formerly resided in Perryopolis. For 18 years;until the time of his death he had owned and operated the Barron Holiday Motel at Route 51 and Interstate 70 south. He retired from the fabric department at the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.in 1960. Mr.Barron was recognized as an avid sportsman;hunter;and fisherman. He was employed as a payroll supervisor for Raymond International of Hackensack;N.J.and the family was presently in the process of moving to Hackensack.
