Michael Chesniak of Naomi Rd. Fayette City R.D. 1 died suddenly Saturday at 10:15 a.m. at the Page Plant of American Chain and Cable Co.; Monessen. Mr Chesniak was born in Whippany; N. J.; July 21; 1920. He was a member of Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church; Charleroi. A veteran of World War II.; he was a member of Brightwell-Daugherty Post 484; American Legion of Fayette City. He also belonged to the Naomi Athletic Club. Surviving are his parents; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Chesniak of Fayette City R. D. 1 two brothers; Andrew and Emil at home. Staff Sergeant George K.Corbett;41;a career airman from Pricedale;was killed instantly at midnight;Saturday April 16;1960;when his motorbike ran into the rear of a car in San Antonio;Texas. Sergeant Corbett was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He had only one year and a half to serve before drawing his 20-year retirement from the Air Force. He was stationed at Medina Air Force Base in San Antonio. Born in Webster on Oct.18;1918;Sergeant Corbett attended LeGrange Elementary School and Rostraver High School. He was the son of William and Sarah Corbett.
