Mrs.Mary Board Federer;79;of Charleroi;R.D.1;died in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital;October 8;1957;at 5:10 a.m. She was born in New Haven;West Virginia;July 17;1878. She is survived by her husband;Joseph Federer;three daughters;Mrs.John Morris of Pittsburgh;Mrs.C.G.Phillips of Clariton and Mrs. Hilda Kelleber of East Orange;New Jersey. Four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home after 7 o’clock tonight. Services will be held there Thursday;October 10;1957;at 2 p.m. in charge of Rev.James C.Puz. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon cemetery. Shebly D.Ferguson is the funeral director.

William T.Fleming;80;of 323 Ohio street;Pricedale;died Friday;March 1;1957;at 2:50 a.m. Mr.Fleming was born in Fayette City;March 22;1876;and retired in 1935 from employment in the Victoria coal mine at Pricedale. He was a member of the Pricedale Union Church. He is survived by his wife;Mrs.Clara Mae Krepps Fleming;three sons;George and James of Belle Vernon;Harry of East Liverpool;Ohio;two daughters;Mrs.Theodore (Cora) Simon of West Newton;Mrs.Joseph (Elvina) Mattie of Youngstown;Ohio;two sisters;Mrs.James Staples of Pricedale;and Mrs.Anna Harbaugh of Filmore;Indiana;twenty-two grandchildren and thirty-six great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held there Monday;March 4;at 2 p.m.;in charge of Rev.George Guest;and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Thomas A.Flanagan of 410 Parkway avenue;Monessen;died in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital;January 23;1957;at 11:25 a.m. He was a member of St.Leonard’s R.C.Church;the Holy name Society and the Elks lodge of Monessen. He was a director of the First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Monessen and was retired from the Page Steel and Wire plant of the American Chain and Cable Co.;on August 1;1951;where he was employed as Manager and Safety Director. He came to Monessen in 1919 from the Aliquippa Works of the Jones and Laughlin Steel Corporation and became superintendent of the Specialty Mill at Pages. In 1934 he became employment manager and in 1950;superintendent of watchmen at the plant. He was active in public and civic affairs;was president of the Monessen Chamber of Commerce;and headed Monessen Red Cross drives. He is survived by his wife;Mary Flanagan;two sons;Francis of Roscoe;Thomas J.;of Belle Vernon;one daughter;Mrs.Edward (Anna Mary) Vogel of Indiana;Pa.;and five grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Edwin Melenyzer Funeral Home;Monessen. Requiem high mass will be sung in St.Leonard’s Church;Thursday;January 31;at 10 a.m. by Rev.Martin O’Toole;and interment will follow in Belle Vernon cemetery.
