He is survived by his wife;

Lowber; three daughters; Mrs.
William (Mary) Kramer of Flushing; New York; Mrs. Stephen
(Ann) Breza of Cuyahoga Falls;
Ohio; and Mrs. Fred (Sylvia)
Mathews; Jr.; of Monessen; one
brother; John of Fairhope; and five grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Melenyzer-Ferguson Funeral Home during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services there on Wednesday;May 11;at 9 a.m.;will be followed by additional rites at 9:30 o’clock in St.Edward’s Church. Rev.Charles Ribick will be in charge;and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Chas.L.Melenyzer and Shelby D.Ferguson are the funeral directors in charge of arrangements.

She was born and reared in Belle Vernon vicinity and was a member of Orient Chapter No.35;O.E.S.;Oriental Shrine;Syria Ladies Club;Daughters of the Nile and Wilkinsburg Christian Church. She is survived by her husband;Dr.Arthur Bowman French;two sisters;Mrs.Mary Price;Belle Vernon;and Mrs.Floyd Dowdell;Pittsburgh and one brother;William Schmidt. Friends are being received at the T.D.Turner Funeral Home;729 Wallace avenue;Wilkinsburg;where services will be held Saturday;February 26;1955;at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Alice Gaggini Sichi; 92; formerly of Seldom Seen; Belle Vernon; died Thursday; May 2; 2002; at 9:06 a.m. at Country Care Manor; Washington Township. Born Nov. 3; 1909; in Fredericktown; she was a daughter of the late Silvio and Maria Orsucci Gaggini. Mrs. Sichi was a resident of Belle Vernon for the past 65 years and a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; Belle Vernon. She was a retired housekeeper for several prominent families in the Belle Vernon area. Mrs. Sichi was a member of the Belle Vernon; Charleroi; and Fayette City Golden Age assemblies and The Melody Makers singing group. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; Lloyd and Donna Sichi of North Belle Vernon; two sisters and a brother-in-law; Jenny and Andy Jugan of Belle Vernon and Nellie Behrendt of Fallowfield Township; one granddaughter; Sharon and husband Brad Manown of Rostraver Township; and one great-granddaughter; Lindsey Manown of Rostraver Township. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Orlando Sichi; in July 1964; four brothers; Arthur; Peter; Roger and Albert Gaggini; and one sister; Londina Zinanni. Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME; Family Owned and Operated; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be held Saturday; May 4; in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian Parish will pray the rosary Friday at 3 p.m. and the North Belle Vernon Fire Department will conduct services at 7 p.m.; both in the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Alice Sichi to the Belle Vernon Public Library.
