Mr.Granlund was born Oct.10;1910 in Fayette City and was employed as a glass worker. He was a World War II veteran;having served in the U.S.Army. He is survived by his wife;Lucille;one daughter;Lillian;at home;his father;Victor Granlund;Fayette City;three brothers;John and Arthur;Fayette City and William;Clarksburg;W.Va.;and a sister;Mrs.Frank (Emma) Bogden;Detroit;Mich. Friends will be received at the McCrory Funeral Home after 7 p.m.Friday;November 8. Services will be held there Monday;November 11;at 2 p.m.in charge of Rev.Karl Wilkman of Monessen. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery and military rites will be conducted by Brightwell Daugherty American Legion Post;Fayette City. George M.McCrory and Son are the funeral directors.

Virgil Guglielmi;60;of 402 Broad avenue;Belle Vernon;died in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital;of a heart attack;October 11;1957;at 11:55 p.m. Mr.Guglielmi;who was born in Italy;June 10;1897;had operated a Shoe Repair business in Belle Vernon for the past thirty-five years. He was a member of the Italian Beneficial Society of Belle Vernon and the Belle Vernon Musical Society. He is survived by his wife;Ada;one son;Edward of Fairhope;two daughters;Mrs.Paul (Lillian) Giovanini;Strabane;and Mrs.Raymond (Lorraine) Waite of Belle Vernon;two brothers and four sisters in Italy;and three grandchildren.
