Born in South Brownsville on Oct.11;1923;she was a daughter of the late Andrew G.Laird and of Edith Stemberg Laird;who survives. Mrs.Ferguson was a member of the First Uunited Methodist Church of Belle Vernon and the Esther Circle of the church. She was a past president of the United Methodist Women. She was also a member and past president of the Tuesday evening Civic Club and belonged to the Charleroi Division Auxiliary of Mon Valley Hospital;Inc. Mt.Flora;a retired merchant;was the former owner of Flora’s Tavern at Fayette City R.D.1 for 26 years. He was active in business and civic affairs of the community. Born in Belle Vernon on March 3;1903;he was a son of the late Jack and Tomasina Luperto Flora. He belonged to St.Sebastian’s Catholic Church;Belle Vernon;and the Belle Vernon and Monessen Golden Age Clubs. Surviving are his widow;Anna Bashada Flora;one daughter;Mrs.Phyllis Trasatti of Belle Vernon;four brothers;Ross and Frank Flora;both of Belle Vernon;Joseph and John Flora;both of Pittsburgh;one sister;Mrs.Josephine Neil of Belle Vernon;and two grandchildren.
