Funeral services will be held Monday;August 12;1963;for Lowman Guder;57;of 35 E.Madison St.;Phoenix;Ariz.;who died Thursday;August 8;1963;in Phoenix. He was born in Pricedale;Feb.24;1906;a son of William and Effie Evans Guder;who surviveand live in California He served in the Merchant Marines during World War Two as a lieutenant commander and captain of mari-time vessels;and at the time of his death was employed by a hotel firm. In addition to his parents;he is survived by his widow;Mrs.Gertrude Guder of Bronx;N.Y.;one son;Robert;of Cleveland;Ohio;and two brothers;William;of Cleveland and Walter;of Brownsville. Friends are being received at the Caleffie-Greenlief Funeral Home;Brownsville;where services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. with the Rev.William T.Garland officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Ralph Nello Gavazzi;71;of 9 Eggers Ave.;Belle Vernon;died suddenly Saturday;April 6;1963;at 10:45 p.m.in Brownsville General Hospital. Mr.Gavazzi was born in Italy;May 4;1891. A member of the Italian Beneficial Society of Belle Vernon and the Sons of Italy;Smithton;he was a retired United Mine Worker having retired from the Somers Mine;Pricedale;in 1952. Surviving are his widow;Gladys Rutkowski Gavazzi;a son;Ralph Jr.and a daughter;Vivian;both at home;two brothers in Italy.
