The husband;Joseph Mazza;75;was pronounced dead of natural causes at his home at 419 Bluff St.Wednesday;Jan.27;1965. His wife;Lucia;80;died of natural causes in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital;Thursday morning;Jan.28;1965. The couple had been married 55 years. Both were born in Italy;Mr.Mazza on Nov.19;1889;and Mrs.Mazza;Feb.3;1884. A resident of Belle Vernon for 50 years;Mr.Mazza was a retired employee of the Allenport Plant of Pittsburgh Steel Co. Mrs.Mazza had resided in Belle Vernon since 1921. Their survivors include a son;Antonio (Sam) Mazza;Monessen;one grandchild and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;after 7 p.m. Jan.20;1965;at 9:30 a.m. followed by Requiem High Mass at 10 a.m. in St.Sebastian’s R.C.Church;Belle Vernon. He was retired from the finishing department of the Allenport Plant;Pittsburgh Steel Co.
