Mrs.Anna Nagy;411 Sixth St.;Donora;died Wednesday morning;December 23;1959;at 7:10 a.m.in a Washington hospital after an illness of several years. She had been a resident of Donora for 40 years and belonged to St.Dominic Roman Catholic Church and the Verhovay Society of Donora. She was preceded in death by her husband;Alex in November;1957 and by her only son;Paul;of Belle Vernon;who died three months ago. Her only survivors are her daughter-in-law;Mrs.Paul Nagy;of Belle Vernon;two grandchildren;Paul Nagy and Carole Nagy Mitchell;and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Schwerha Funeral Home;Donora after 12 noon Thursday. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon.

Trying to keep his property in good order cost the life of Paul A.Nagy;51;of Lynnwood. Last Saturday;he fell 20 feet from an old poplar tree into which he had climbed to trim back the branches. Taken to Charleroi-Monessen Hospital;he was transferred early Sunday morning to Allegheny General Hospital. His inuries;a compound fracture of the right wrist;fractures of the right arm;a rib;and pelvis;were complicated by a diabetic condition. He had been on the critical list since admission. He died Saturday;Sept.26;1959;at 12:55 a.m. Born in Toledo;Ohio;on Feb.15;1908;he came to Belle Vernon from Donora 17 years ago;and lived at 122 Kelly St.in Lynnwood. A craneman in the blooming mill of Monessen plant of Pittsburgh Steel Co.for 35 years;he had formerly served as a Washington Township Road Supervisor and was executive secretary of the Pennsylvania Road Board. He was a charter member of the Belle Vernon Lions Club. He was a communicant of st.Sebastian’s R.C.Church and a member of its Holy Name Society. Socially;he was affiliated with the Fraternal Order of Eagles of Monessen. He is survived by his wife;Mary Emery Nagy;a son;Paul E.Nagy;of Pittsburgh;a daughter;Mrs.Carole Mitchell;at home;and three grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother;Mrs.Anna Nagy;of Donora.
