He was born in Bonitier;Missouri;May 21;1894;the son of the late Alex and Eliza Maul. Mr.Maul was a resident of Monessen for 40 years;and was a retired employee of the Pittsburgh Steel Foundry;Glassport. He was a member of the Wayman A.M.E.Church;Monessen;and the Monessen Elks 697 O.K.Lodge. He was a World War I veteran. Mr. Maul is survived by his widow;Elizabeth Maul;one sister;Mrs.Cora Warner of Milwaukee;Wis.;and two brothers;Leonard and John of Crystal City;Miss. Friends will be received in the Beverly C.Draper Funeral Home;608 Sixth St.;Monessen Monday from 7 to p.m.and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m.at the Wayman AME Church;with the Rev.W.J.Dickey;pastor;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Beverly C.Draper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Members of the Elks Lodge 697 OK Lodge will conduct a service Tuesday at 7 p.m.at the funeral home.

Rev.C.Morris of 942 Henry St.;Belle Vernon;pastor of the Antioch Baptist Church;Belle Vernon;died Wednesday;Oct.26;1977;at 7:20 p.m.in Washington Hospital following a short illness. He was 89. Rev.Morris was born July 14;1888 in Farley;Ala.;a son of the late Henry and Lou Lynn Morris. He had lived in the Belle Vernon vicinity since 1927 and was pastor of the Antioch Baptist Church from 1952 until his retirement on Sept.26;1976. Rev.Morris had served in the ministry for 50 years at different churches in Blythedale;Gallatin and Fitz Henry. He was a member of the Twin Lodge F & AM;No.67;Pricedale. She was born in Borgo-A-Buggiano;Italy on Jan.20;1893 and had lived in the Belle Vernon area for more than 65 years. Mrs.Monti was a member of St.Sebastian Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. She was a charter member of the Sons of Italy;Charleroi;and had belonged to the organization for over 50 years. She was also a charter member and member of the Anita Garibaldi Society of Belle Vernon. She belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary and Defense Club;both of Belle Vernon;and the Belle Vernon and Charleroi Golden Age clubs. She was preceded in death by her husband;Archie Monti;on Sept.30;1965;by two grandsons;Larry K.Martin in 1977 and Ronnie Bradley;in 1947;and by a brother;Louis Pasquinelli;in 1975. Surviving are one son;Raymond J.Monti;of Lancaster;Calif.;two daughters;Mrs.Antonio (Ida) Pineiro of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Francis (Hilda) Bradley of Baltimore;Md.;one brother;Peter Pasquinelli of San Francisco;Calif.;three sisters and two brothers;all in Italy;four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
