Mr. Stringhill; who was born
in Italy in 1875; retired in 1946
from the Allenport plant of
Pittsburgh Steel Co.
He was a member of St. Sebastian
Roman Catholic
Church and was a life member
of Loyal Order of Moose; both
of Belle Vernon.
Surviving are three daughters;
Mrs. Lena Mazzei; Mrs.
Janie Mitchell and Innis Stringhill;
all at home; seven sons;
Tony; James; Frank; Freddy;
Rudolph; Samuel and Louis;
all of Belle Vernon; eleven
grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Surviving are two sisters;Mrs.Carmella Cefala and Mrs.Josephine Bitonti;both of Belle Vernon;a number of nieces and nephews. Surviving besides her parents are two brothers;Randy and Brett at home;paternal grandparents;Mr.and Mrs. James Sandy of Belle Vernon R.D.3;maternal grandparents;Mr.and Mrs. Millford Bolyard of Newburg;W.Va. Interment took place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Jesse Stopford Sr.;64;of 222 Dull St.;Belle Vernon (Fairhope));died suddenly at his home on Saturday Jan.27;1968 at 1:30 p.m. He was a retired steel mill worker and a member of Marion Presbyterian Church in Fairhope. Born in North Charleroi Feb.23;1903;he was a son of the late William and Ellen Boydell Stopford. Surviving are his widow;Mary Hoffman Stopford;a son Jesse Jr.of Monessen;two daughters;Mrs.Joseph (Gloria) Russo of Coal Center and Mrs.Nelson (Joan) Crouch of Stockdale;four brothers;Leonard;Paul;George and Ralph;and two sisters;Mrs.Florence Smider and Sarah Stopford;all of Paterson;N.J.;eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
