John Toth;Sr.;65;of Fayette City;R.D.1;formerly of Belle Vernon;died Wednesday;Sept.7;1960 at 3:30 p.m. in Charleroi-Monessen hospital. Mr.Toth was born in Marion City;Ohio;Jan.29;1895;and moved to Arnold City when a boy. He worked in the Arnold City coal mine until 1926;when he accepted employment at the Monessen plant of the Pittsburgh Steel Co. Retiring from this employment in 1942;he became associated with his sons;and established the Toth Market in Belle Vernon. Until his illness he and his sons also operated two other markets;one in Lynnwood;the third in Speers.
