Mrs.Tordi who was born in Hungary on April 16;1884;spent most of her life in the Belle Vernon area. She was a member of the Hungarian Presbyterian Church of Pricedale. Her husband;John ;is deceased. Surviving are two sons;John of Belle Vernon and William of Hubbard;Ohio;a daughter;Mrs.John (Helen) Klanchard of Belle Vernon;eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Mrs.Mary Bercini Tolkach;60;of Dunlevy;active for many years in civic and education affairs;died in Mercy Hospital;Pittsburgh;Monday;Nov.21;1966;at 9:45 a.m. Mrs.Tolkach was secretary of the Dunlevy Redevelopment Board and had served as a member of the Dunlevy School Board and the Charleroi Area School Board. She devoted much time to the Parent-Teacher movement. She had served as president of the Allenport PTA;the Charleroi Junior High School PTA;and the Washington County PTA Council. She also served as vice-president of the Southwest District PTA Council. She was a member of the Mother of Sorrows R.C.Church in Charleroi;and the Ladies Altar Society. She was born in Dunlevy Feb.8;1906;and was educated in Charleroi schools. She was the daughter of the late Pete and Julia Danesi Bercini. Surviving are two sons;Edward and Dennis at home;three brothers;Julio of Dunlevy;Mario of Portsmouth;Ohio;and Attilio Bercini;of Monongahela R.D.; two sisters;Mrs.Irma Chislaghi;of Monongahela.and Mrs.Inez Pipik;of Dunlevy.
