John Vaccaro;70;of 102 Arch St.;Belle Vernon;died in Monongahela Memorial Hospital on Wednesday;Aug.28;1957;at 4 a.m. He was born in Italy on March 14;1887;and had lived in Newell and Belle Vernon for fifty years. He had been a section foreman for the Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad until his retirement in 1954;and was a member of St.Sebastian’s R.C.;Church. His survivors are his wife;Rose;four sons;Gasper;of Belle Vernon;Joseph;of Newell;Anthony and Eugene;of Belle Vernon RD 2;two daughters;Mrs.Richard (Ann) Holmes;Ellwood City;and Mrs.Al (Julia) DiNardo;of Pittsburgh;nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received ater 7 p.m.tonight at the Ferguson Funeral Home;with services from St.Sebastian’s R.C.Church on Friday;Aug.30;at 10 a.m. Rev.Henry Hanse will have charge of the services. Joseph Vittulla;63;formerly of Fairhope;died after a lingering illness at his home in Pontiac;Mich;on Monday;July 29;1957. He was born on March 9;1894. Mr.Vittulla is survived by his wife;Letha;a daughter;Mrs.Margaret Emory;of Brownsville;and a sister;Mrs.William (Minnie) Mullens;of Fairhope.Friends will be received at the Harold R.Toner Funeral Home in Belle Vernon between the hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. until Thursday;August 1;when services will be held at the funeral home at 2 p.m.in charge of Rev.D.Earl Daniel of the Fayette City Presbyterian Church. Pete Vincent;68;of Fairhope;died in the Magee Hospital;Pittsburgh;Saturday;July 20;1957;at 11:10 a.m. Mr.Vincent was born in Czechoslovakia;April 29;1889;and had lived for fifty-four years in the Fayette City-Fairhope and Brownsville areas. He was a member of St.Edward’s Church;Fayette City;and was a retired coal miner. He was a member of Local 2148;Pricedale;UMW. He is survived by his wife;Mary Vesely Vincent;one son;Peter;Jr.;of Clairton;two daughters;Frances Fusco of Monongahela;Margaret Pilarcik of Elizabeth;one sister in Czechoslovakia;and several grandchildren. He was employed for fifty-two years in the Fence Department of the Pittsburgh Steel Company;Monessen plant;and retired in 1954. He was a member of the Croation Club of Monessen;and was a veteran of World War One. He was preceded in death two years ago by a brother;Lee L.Vaughn;a former burgess of North Charleroi.
