Charleroi Division of Mon Valley
Hospital.
Born Jan. 7; 1898; in Dunlevy;
he was a resident of Belle
Vernon for 74 years.
Mr. Venneri retired as a foreman
at the Allenport Plant of
Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.
in 1962.
Surviving are his widow; Olga
Zucconi Venneri; two sons;
Robert E. of Belle Vernon and
Ronald P. of Detroit; Mich.;
three sisters. Miss Sylvia Venneri
and Miss Hazel Venneri;
both of Belle Vernon; and Mrs.
Herman (Anita) Karlosky of
Monessen; one granddaughter.
Friends will be received from
7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from
2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Shelby D. Ferguson
Funeral Home; Belle Vernon;where services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m.with the Rev.Gordon P.Ray;pastor of St.Paul Lutheran Church;Monessen;officiating. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Charles Venneri;87;of 1117 Henry St.;Belle Vernon;died Wednesday;March 28;1973;at 5:35 a.m.in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. Mr.Venneri was born in Italy on April 28;1885;and resided in Belle Vernon the past 74 years. He was a member of St.Sebastian R.C.Church;Belle Vernon;and was a retired employee of the former Burnham Corp.;Belle Vernon. Surviving are his widow;Jennie;two sons;William M.Venneri of Belle Vernon;former mayor of the community;and Eugene (Vic) Venneri;also of Belle Vernon;one daughter;Mrs.George (Helen) Thieser of Belle Vernon;two brothers;Frank Venneri of Belle Vernon and Eugenio Venneri;in Italy;seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;from 7 to 10 p.m.Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m.Thursday. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m.Friday followed by Mass at 10 a.m.in St.Sebastian R.C.Church;Belle Vernon;with Msgr.Martin J.O’Toole officiating.
