at 8:45 p.m. in her sleep
at the home of her daughter; Mrs. John (Anne) Say; 1150
Lincoln Ave.;Charleroi where
she was visiting. A former resident
of Monessen;she had
been ill for a brief time.
Mrs. Voloko was born in Austria;
Nov. 15; 1897 and was a member of Holy Trinity Orthodox
Church;Charleroi.
Preceded in death by her
husband;Michael in 1945;she
is survived by a son; Michael
of Detroit; four daughters; Mrs. Say and Mrs. Stanley (Olga)
Sowinski of Charleroi;Mrs.
Rusyniak and Mrs Joseph
(Helen) Perez of Detroit; 7
grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Michael A.Melinchak Funeral Home;Charleroi;from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Parasas services will be held Friday;April 30;at 7:30 p.m.in the funeral home. died Wednesday;June 10;1964;at 8:25 a.m. in
Charleroi – Monessen Hospital.
Mr. Volpi had been employed
as a bartender in Mickey’s
Grill; Second St.; Belle Vernon.
He was a member of St. Sebastian’s
R.C. Church; the
Moose; Italian Beneficial Society;
American Legion; all of
Belle Vernon; and the East Belle
Vernon Athletic Club and various
other social groups.
Mr. Volpi was born in Belle
Vernon on Nov. 5; 1911.
Surviving are his mother;
Mrs. Amelia Volpi of Belle Vernon;
with whom he made his
home; two brothers; Orlando
D. of Belle Vernon and James
D. of Roscoe; three sisters; Mrs.
Albert (Eunice) Dominick and
Mrs. Chester (Mary) Marasco;
both of Belle Vernon; and Mrs.
Joseph (Rose) Lorenzini of
Blythedale.
His father; John; died Nov.
30; 1937.

Steve Vukson;81;of 328 Indiana Ave.;Monessen;died in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital yesterday at 5:20 p.m. He was a member of St.Leonard’s R.C.Church and the Croatian Lodge;both of Monessen. Surviving are one daughter;Mrs.Mary Bransburg of Monessen;with whom he had made his home;one sister;Mrs.Joseph (Anna) Letrich of Arnold City;three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
