Mr. Yonek was a veteran of
service in the U.S. Army.
He belonged to St. Thomas
Aquinas Catholic Church in
California and the Speers Boat
Club.
He was preceded in death by
his father; George Yonek;
Surviving are his widow;
Dolores Lenio Yonek; four
daughters; Jacqueline; Cathy;
Lisa and Julie; all at home;
his mother and stepfather;

Mr. Yanko was an honorary
member of the Citizens
Association of Pricedale. He
also belonged to the United
Mine Workers of America.
He retired 20 years ago from
the Somers No. 4 mine at
Pricedale.

Born in Lebanon County;he was the son of the late Calvin M.and Sallie E.Sholly Yiengst. Survivors include two brothers;Roy D.and Ira W.Yiengst;both of Lebanon;two sisters;Almeda L.;wife of Adam Merkey;Lebanon and Irene M.wife of Warren Boyer;Alexandria;Va.;and a number of nieces and nephews. late John and Mary Gall Obsharsky. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Orthodox Church of Charleroi and its Ladies Altar Society and the Lubov Lodge of Charleroi. Her husband;Andrew Yuschak;died Dec.10;1946;and a daughter;Mrs.Mary Kachala;died April 1;1971. She is survived by two sons;John Yuschak of Belle Vernon and Walter Yuschak of Charleroi;two daughters;Mrs.Rose Putnak of Charleroi;and Mrs.Andrew (Helen) Scheponik;with whom she made her home in Charleroi for the past three years.
