She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon;Order of Eastern Star;Chapter 196;and the Belle Vernon Woman’s club. Widow of the late George T.Etheridge;she is survived by one son;Thomas Etheridge of Detroit;Michigan;one sister;Mrs.Mary P.Vaunatta of Connellsville;and one grandson. Friends will be received at the Toner Funeral Home. Services will be held there Tuesday;April 6;1948;at 2 p.m.;in charge of Rev.George L.Kress;pastor of the Belle Vernon Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner is the funeral director.

Mrs.Helen T.Elder;72;309 Henry street;Belle Vernon;died at 8:40 a.m. Saturday;November 29;1947;in the Charleroi-Monessen hosptial.  She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Fayette City and the Daughters of America of Jacobs Creek.  Surviving are six children;Clifford Helterbran;of Emsworth;Mrs.Albert Winters;of Fayette City;Robert Elder;of Belle Vernon;Alvin W.Elder;of Fayette City;Harold and Guy Elder;of Charleroi;three sisters;Mrs.Jemima Ruth;of Scottdale;Mrs.Christina Hough;of Belle Vernon R.D.;and Mrs.Daniel Newell;of Derry;Pa.  Sixteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren also survive.  Friends are being received at the Melenyzer Funeral Home;where services will be held Tuesday;December 2;1947;at 2 p.m.  Rev.O.E.Bennett of the Christian Church;Monessen will officiate.  Interment;Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Charles L.Melenyzer and Edwin F.Melenyzer;funeral directors.  

Frederick Samuel Emelo;age three months;nine days;infant son of Mr.and Mrs.Thomas Emelo of 625 Fallowfield avenue;Charleroi;died Wednesday;November 13;1946;at 11:55 a.m.in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital. He was born in North Charleroi on August 4;1946. He is survived by his parents;Mr.and Mrs.Thomas Emelo;his maternal grandparents;Mr.and Mrs.Samuel Greenlee of Fayette City;R.D.;his paternal grandparents;Mr.and Mrs.Fred Emelo of Vestaburg and his great-grandparents;Mr.and Mrs.G.T.Federer of Fayette City R.D.
