Surviving are two daughters;Mrs.Arnold Castin of Okmulgee;Okla.;and Mrs.Albert Costello of Homer City;Pa.;a brother;Robert Frost of Belle Vernon;and a sister;Mrs.Morgan Hartley of Rice’s Landing;and two grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Melenyzer Funeral Home until Tuesday at 2 p.m. when funeral services will be held in charge of Rev.H.F.Roney. Interment will be in Belle Vernon cemetery. Felix A. Franks; Jr.; age 39 years;of 16 Eggers street; East Belle Vernon; died suddenly Sunday night September 30;1945; shortly before midnight; before
beginning work in the Monessen plant of the Pittsburgh Steel company while changing his clothes to start his job as a craneman.
He was a member of the Belle Vernon Junior Order United American Mechanics.
He is survived by his wife; Genevieve Franks; two daughters; Margaret and Mona Franks; both at home; two brothers; Corporal Albert
Franks and Pfc. George Franks;
both stationed in Europe; and one
sister; Mrs. Paul Leezer of Monongahela. friends will be received at the late home. Services will be held there Wednesday;Oct.3;1945;at 2:30 o’clock. Rev.Herbert G.Mountan will be in charge;and will be assisted by Rev.Harold L.Davis of Uniontown. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner is the funeral director.
