Fred M.Guder;aged 58 years;of 113 Main Street;Belle Vernon;died suddenly in the Allenport mill;Saturday;October 20;1951;at 7:30 am. He was a member of American Legion Post No.659;of Belle Vernon. Surviving are three brothers;William;of California;Joseph of Belle Vernon;and Charles of Zanesville;Ohio;two sisters;Mrs.Melvin Haywood of Allenport;and Mrs.Melvin Lehew;of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received in the Toner Funeral Home at Belle Vernon until time for the funeral services October 23;at 2 p.m. Services will be in charge of Rev.George Kress;pastor of the Presbyterian Church;and there will be military rites by the American Legion Post No.659;of Belle vernon. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner is funeral director.

George Sinclair Gakill;83;of Speers;died at his home;Wednesday;April 18;1951;at 5:15 p.m. He is survived by two sons;William of Belle Vernon and John G.Gaskill of Charleroi;R.D.1;four daughters;Mrs.Jack Sutherland;of Charleroi;R.D.1;Mrs.Fred Moyer of Etna;Mrs.Thorton Douthitt;of Atwater;Ohio;and Mrs.Bruce McDonald of Speers;one brother;J.H.Gaskill of Speers;twenty-five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
