Mrs.Charlotte Hammitt;widow of Isaac Hammitt;aged 81 years;died at her home on Third and Wood street;Belle Vernon;at 9:10 Monday morning;January 14;1929;following a lingering illness. She is survived by one son;Eli Hammitt at home;one grandson;Donald Goslyne of Belle Vernon;one granddaughter;Mrs.Louis Seales of Gary;Ind.;and one sister;Mrs.George Parrant;of Columbus;Ohio. Funeral services will be held from the late home Thursday afternoon at 2:30 with Rev.Stanley Jewell;pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in charge. Interment will be made in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Mrs.Maude Charles Harvey;wife of Richard Harvey;died at 3:10 Wednesday morning;March 28;1928;at the home of her sister;Mrs.Mansell Wolf;606 McKee avenue;where she was removed several weeks ago. Death followed a lingering illness;covering a period of several years;during which she suffered of high blood pressure. One week ago she suffered a stroke and Sunday was seized with another and since that time her death has been hourly expected. Surviving are her husband;a daughter;Miss Sara Harvey;a student at Indiana Normal;five sisters;Mrs.Anna Smith of San Benito;Texas;Mrs.Mansell Wolfe and Mrs.Bronson Reno of this city;Mrs.Lida Roberts of Canton;Ohio and Mrs.B.C.Nickeson of Portland;Oregon;also two brothers;H.H.Charles of Springfield;Ohio;and Persy Charles of Universal;Pa. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon;May 26;1947;at 2:30 from her late home;508 Sixth street;in charge of Rev.M.M.Houser;pastor of the United Brethren Church;where the family affiliates. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
