George Harger;a resident of Belle Vernon for a number of years;died early Thursday morning;March 13;1941;in the Veterans Hospital at Aspinwall;a few hours after he had been admitted. He had been ill for some time. The family resided at 33 Wood street. Survivng is his mother;Mrs.Mary Hager;three sisters;Mrs.G.R.Ackard of Monessen;Mrs.Nellie Lane and Mrs.Olive Stone of Belle Vernon and two brothers;H.G.Hager of Greensburg and Richard Harger of Belle Vernon. Mr.Harger served as a private with Company A;28th Division;A.E.F.;and later was employed for a number of years at the Pittsburgh Steel. Friends are being received at the Toner Funeral Home;Broad avenue;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 with Rev.Mundy;pastor of the Belle Vernon Baptist Church;officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
