James Earl Myers; aged 55
years; son of the late Theodore
and Elizabeth Myers; died Sunday
night; December 5;1943 in the Ohio Valley hospital; at SteubenvilJe; Ohio;
where he had been employed for
the past six months; after a few
hours illness. He had resided in
Monessen for the past 15 years
and his entire life was spent in this
immediate vicinity. He was in the
employ of the Page mill and the
Monessen Foundry & Machine Co.
for many years; in the capacity
of an electrician.
Mrs. Samuel Ross; of Reed avenue; is an aunt of the deceased
and Arthur Myers; of Reed avenue;
a nephew.
Friends are being received at
the Woodward Home for Funerals where services will be held Thursday afternoon at 3 o’clock;with Rev.Ted V. Voorhees;pastor of the Methodist Church;officiating. Interment;Belle Vernon Cemetery. Dave.H.Woodward;funeral director;in charge.

Mrs.Grace Pearl Mechem; wife
of Raymond Mechem; died Tuesday afternoon; November 23;1943; at
3:30 o’clock at her home; 401
Market street; Belle Vernon. She
was aged 53 years.
The deceased was a member of
the First Christian Church and
the Patriotic Order of America.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter; Ruth; at home;
and a son; Raymond; Jr.; of Fayette City; three sisters; Mrs.
Goldie Belle; of Clarksburg; Mrs.
Georgia Getz and Mrs. Hazel Hilpert or Bellevue. Two grandchildren also survive.
Friends are being received at the Toner Funeral home until Friday;November 26;1943;at 4 p.m.at which time funeral services will be held in charge of Rev.J.W.Klagas;pastor of the First Christian Church. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold Toner;funeral director;is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs.Hannah Foulks McCreary;age 86 years;died at her home at 441 Fourth Street;North Charleroi;August 2;1943 at twelve o’clock noon;after an illness of about two weeks. She was born in Belle Vernon;October 27;1857;and was member of the Charleroi Christian Church. She is survived by one daughter;Mrs.Samuel H.Gaskill;Sr.;of North Charleroi;two sisters;Mrs.Elizabeth Trover of Beaver Falls;and Mrs.Lyda Lewis of Belle Vernon;six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the late home until time for services Thursday;August 5;1943 at 2 p.m. Rev.Byron R.Mahan will be in charge of services and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Zelda Lousetta Moore;aged 9 years;daughter of Mr.and Mrs. Charles Moore; died at her home at 219 Water street;Belle Vernon;Saturday;February 27;1943 at 8:17 p.m. A member of the St.Sebastian Church in Belle Vernon;she is survived by her parents;and the following brothers and sisters;Lena;George;Nora Rose;Arthur and Frances;all at home;Mrs.Frank Duggins of Arnold City;Louis Edward;Louige and Charles of Belle Vernon.
