died Tuesday; April 8;1941; at 8:30 p.m. at the Memorial hospital; Monongahela.
She had been ill for six
days.
Besides her husband; she is survived
by five sons; Augustine;
Thomas; Eugene; John and Frank;
all at home; her parents; Mr. and
Mrs. John Flora; of Belle Vernon;
three sisters; Mrs. Anna Pallzana;
of Pittsburgh; Mrs. Earl Neil and Mrs. Paul Brazak; of Belle Vernon;
five brothers; Ross and Peter
of North Belle Vernon; Frank of Belle Vernon;Joseph and John of Pittsburgh. Friends will be received at the Toner Funeral Home on Broad avenue;Belle Vernon;until Saturday morning;April 12th;at 10 o’clock;when services will be held in St.Sebastian R.C.Church. Rev.J.J.McConnell will officiate. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.

John Motchkoski; aged 58 years;
died at the home of his daughter;
Mrs. John Modrak; Henry street;
Belle Vernon; Thursday morning; December 26;1940; at 2:30 o’clock; after an
illness of two weeks.
He is survived by three daughters; Mrs. Modrak; Miss Anne
Motchkoski; and Mrs. John Shuma;
all of Belle Vernon; a son; John;
also of Belle Vernon; and six
grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the
late residence in Lynn wood; R. D.
No. 2; until Sunday afternoon at 2
o’clock where short services will
be conducted; followed by services
at St. John the Divine Church in
Monessen. Rev. Theodore Geeza
will officiate. Burial will be in the
Belle Vernon Cemetery.
JOHN W. MANOWN
John William Manown;aged 73;first postmaster and a former school director at Monessen;died in his home at 215 Sixth street;Monongahela;Monday night;July 22;1940 at 10:20 o’clock. He was born in Westmoreland county Sept.7;1867;but he had resided in Monongahela for 15 years. He previously had lived in Forward Township and Monessen. Mr.Manown;a retired farmer and banker;was a member of Monessen Lodge of Master Masons No.638 and Syria Shrine;Pittsburgh Consistory. The deceased is survived by his wife Mrs.Myrtle Manown;one daughter;Vella;at home;one son;Voyle F.Manown of Norristown;Pa.;two brothers;James of Monessen and Edward of Warren;O.;two sisters;Mrs.Margaret Carnes and Mrs.Pearl Kisor;both of Monessen. Two grandchildren also survive. Services will be held at the Bebout and Yohe Funeral Home on Thursday;July 25;1940;at 2 p.m.;in charge of the Rev.Ross M.Haverfield assisted by the Rev.Carl K.Boyer. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
