He is survived by his widow Maybelle; one daughter;Rebecca Jane; his parents; Mr. and Mrs. William A. Miller; Monongahela; R.D.; one sister Mrs. Wallace Hough; Monongahela; R.D. 1; and two brothers; Lester E.; also of Monongahela R.D. 1; and Don; of New York City. Friends may call at the Sharps Funeral Home; Fairchance; after 6 o’clock Friday. The body will be taken to the Brownfield Church Sunday at 12 o’clock where it will lie in state until 2 o’clock;when funeral services will be held;with Rev.Leon Sullivan;of Philadelphia;officiating. Augusta Laura Myers;wife of William Myers;aged 57 years;R.D.1;Lake Drive;Erie;Pa.;died in the Waynesburg General hospital;Friday evening;December 17;1943 at 7:30 p.m.after an illness of 10 days. Mrs.Myers was visiting with her sister;Mrs.Ida Manown;Lynnwood;Belle Vernon;when taken ill. Mr.and Mrs.Myers were residents of Monessen for 20 years before going to Erie. Survivors include her husband;a son;Rev.John Myers;of smithfield;three sisters;Mrs.A.Brutto;Canton;O.;Mrs.J.McDowell;Hawk Run;Pa.;Mrs.Manown;Lynnwood;two brothers;Jules Lerminiaux;Detroit;Mich.;and John Lerminiaux;Erie;four grandchildren also survive.
