State Police of Charleroi barracks were preparing to take action today after an automobile driven by a fifteen-year-old boy run down and fatally injured Andrew Nogy;65;of Pricedale;in North Belle Vernon last night;Sunday;December 7;1941. Mr.Nogy died in Charleroi-Monessen hospital at 11:05 p.m.;two hours after being struck by an automobile operated by William Marsden;15;of Belle Vernon. The boy;too young to own an operator’s license;is said to have driven from the intersection of Graham and Sampson Streets into the main highway. The car veered to the right;State police said after making an investigation;and struck Mr.Nogy as he walked along the road. He was rushed to the hospital at 9:15 p.m.and died two hours later of internal injuries. Authorities said George Corbett;of Pricedale;was the owner of the car. Charges of driving an automobile without a license and of premitting a violation are to be made;Corp.E.C.Moore of the State police said. Action in the death is contingent upon the findings of a coroner’s jury. The investigation is being continued. The survivors of Mr.Nogy who resided at 107 Hill street;Belle Vernon;are:his wife;Mrs.Anna Nogy;three daughters;Mrs.Andrew Hornack;of Monessen;Mrs.Reno Carini;of Belle Vernon;and Mrs.Joseph Dubinsky of Munhall;seven sons;Louis;Andrew Jr.;Walter;Michael;Martin and Joseph;of Belle Vernon;and John in the U.S.Army Air Corps in Denver;Colo.;and ten grandchildren.
